Scott Harrell, RN

Scott likes to live by the Nike motto, “Just Do It.” Perhaps that’s why he has pursued degrees in not one, but two different career fields. In addition to a degree in automotive tech, Scott has achieved a successful career in healthcare, advancing from a certified nursing assistant (CNA) to a licensed practical nurse (LPN) and then ultimately a registered nurse (RN). His decision to become a nurse came after he saw several of his family members achieve success in a variety of healthcare positions.

Scott first worked as a traveling nurse for an agency in Kansas before moving to Florida, where he later transitioned into a teaching role. He enjoys being an instructor because it gives him the opportunity to teach the next generation of healthcare professionals and help others like himself start a new, rewarding career.

When he’s not in the office, you might find Scott out riding his Harley-Davidson Night Rod or feeding his “pet” turtles that live in the lake behind his house.
