Robin Coats, RN, MSN
You will rarely find Robin sitting around, unless it’s to read a good book. Whether she’s camping, enjoying the outdoors, or traveling to visit family, this busy lady is always on the go! Even when she’s working, she keeps herself busy as an Instructor for Premier Nursing Academy.
Robin had the same go-getter approach when it came to her education, refusing to stay stagnant. She started her career in healthcare as a qualified medication aide (QMA) initially, then transitioned into a licensed practical nurse (LPN). Next, she obtained her RN-BSN degree, then several years later received her MSN in Nursing Education. She spent the early part of her career working primarily in long-term care and hospice before she transitioned into education.
Robin embraces her current role because she feels like Premier Nursing Academy is more than just a team or a job—it’s a family who really cares about each other.
Though Robin prefers cats over dogs any day, she insists she’s not a crazy cat lady. As much as she loves her spoiled cat, Kidders, she takes time away to tend to her passion for gardening as well. Next time you see Robin, ask to sample her homemade salsa and zucchini relish.
