Soyini Morris, LPN, BA
Soyini, an LPN of 11 years, became a member of the team at Premier Nursing Academy – Pinellas Park in 2020. Before becoming an instructor, she spent time as a disease management nurse and diabetes educator, five years as acting Division Educator with DaVita Kidney Care and Kidney Smart Scholar, and eight years in mental health case management.
While she wanted to be a surgeon when she was little, she says, “I have always been an educator at heart.” Soyini loves sharing experiences with students and seeing their enthusiasm grow. She also advises them to self-evaluate, make sure this is what they want to do, and show sincerity to their colleagues and patients. Outside of work, she adores cats and dogs, and if she weren’t in this field, she’d love to travel the world, try different cultures’ foods, and try to perfect them in her own kitchen.
Soyini’s favorite quote is, “The greatest calamity is not to have failed but to have failed to try.”
